The North America Boerboel Breeders Association, Inc (also known as NABBA) is a non-profit organization that was created to provide a service for members and to assist anyone interested in the Boerboel breed, whether breeder, owner or enthusiast.
NABBA offers many services, but perhaps one of most importance to those researching the Boerboel Breed is that we only offer advertising on our site by highly reputable kennels who work toward advancing the breed. Any complaint registered against a breeder, be it our Board as well as all our members, is thoroughly investigated and if we find proof to substantiate the allegation, that breeder's membership will be terminated from NABBA. The following are examples of what will not be accepted, allowed or tolerated within the NABBA organization:
* Bite work of any type or by any name
* Evidence of Cross-Breeding
* Other unethical/questionable breeding practices, i.e. evidence of puppy mills, reports of selling sick or unhealthy puppies, etc..
As you can clearly see, NABBA has set the standard very high with only "the best of the best" as members! That makes NABBA a very valuable resource when you are researching breeders and kennels.
The purpose of the NABBA is to
§ provide member services,
§ provide education to those interested in the Boerboel, and
§ promote a leadership culture for the preservation of breed characteristics and improvement of the genetic value of the Boerboels in North America.
The NABBA will:
